SHUSH, INDIA AND HIJRAS – QUIET NOW !

I study cross cultural human behavior - honestly it is my profession, passion, and a vocation. The study of India's antediluvian, man-made social strata and culture will be incomplete without the mention of caste system. I learnt recently that Gays form an entirely different caste in the Hindu caste system. I was happy to learn that hijras, or eunuchs as they are commonly called are a part of the human caste system - a sign that we as a society recognize them as humans with feelings and emotions.
